I have been working on updates to the site, and particularly to the registration system. Subscribers from previous years may now log in with the existing username and password and will be automatically directed to a renewal form, which will give them the choice of paying through PayPal or printing a form with instructions for mailing a payment by cheque or money order. New subscribers may click the Register link or the Subscription Order Form button to get to a subscription form, which will give them the choice of paying through PayPal or printing a form with instructions for mailing a payment by cheque or money order. Please note that subscribing to the District competition materials still requires emailing Bryan, as these materials are only available to District coordinators or those approved by them for access to these materials. PayPal payments and payments by credit cards should now be fully working. After filling out your subscription form and selecting Pay by PayPal, once you submit the form you will go to a screen with a PayPal Pay Now button on it. Click the button to go to the Paypal site. Even if you do not have a PayPal account, you should be able to use a credit card to make your payment through the PayPal system. Once your payment is processed, you will return automatically to the Quizhelper site, where you should see a page confirming that your account has been activated. At this point, you should be able to log in and access the site. Please note that if you have renewed your account, you will need to use your old username and password, as these are not automatically updated from the subscription form (Not yet, anway!). As always, feel free to email me through the Contact Us link on the front page if you have any problems. In other site changes, I have revamped the quiz builder logging to give me more support information to help me understand the cause of any problems. As a side benefit of the changes I have made, you are now able to repeat any requests made for quizzes. This offers yet another starting point for building quizzes, as you can pull up an old request, make whatever changes may be appropriate, and issue a new request. The quiz builder now allows you to see key verse lists and download them for editing. I will be adding the same functionality for question lists to support the use of multiple question sets. Now that the subscription system is (I hope!) finally working as it needs to, I should be able to do final editing on the church question set and post the question list and cards in a user-friendly format. |
